Southern California is a great place to live, but paradise always has its price. Currently we are experiencing crazy Santa Ana winds with gusts up to 80 MPH with extremely dry conditions. It was only a matter of time until fires broke out. There are currently seven fires burning in Southern California, with two very close to my home. I took these pictures from a ridge a couple of blocks away from my home. Hopefully the winds will die down and the awesome firefighters can get a hold on these fires.

Shannon and Robert
I had a chance to hang out with Shannon and Robert earlier this week shooting some engagement pictures. We went to Mentryville (an old pioneer oil town) for the photography session. The main historic town was closed to visitors, but there were many interesting areas to use in the images. I will definitely be going back with other clients.
Shannon and Robert were great in front of the camera. Here are a couple of shots:

Spain & Portugal
I can't believe it has been over two weeks since my wife and I returned from Spain and Portugal. I took one of my new cameras with me and ended up taking over 800 images. I have posted a few here.
If you would like to see some more (not 800) you can click here.
Don't forget - you can see more here.

Alexandra and Stephen
I have been falling behind a little in my posting. Last weekend we photographed the wedding of Alexandra and Stephen in San Pedro California. The location afforded many colorful opportunities for taking great images.
Everyone involved with the wedding was great. It was a very laid back and fun day. The bride and groom were totally cool with hanging out and taking lots of different images.
Here are a couple of pictures from the day.
