Blue Rodeo - Canada Trip

I just returned from spending three days in Canada. Every year we visit Stratford Ontario Canada to see a concert by my favorite band - Blue Rodeo.

Stratford is a small Canadian city that hosts the largest Shakespeare Festival in North America drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. They have amazing theatres including the Festival Theatre where Blue Rodeo play each year. The Theatre seats just over 2000 and the acoustics are awesome.

My favorite hang out in Startford is Bentley's Roadhouse - located downtown. Many times you can find members of Blue Rodeo having a bite to eat or just kicking back with friends here.

Blue Rodeo are an amazing band that have been together for over 20 years. I love their music and have turned many friends on to their tunes. Check out their website at http://www.bluerodeo.com/.

Last, I have included a picture of my favorite store in Ontario. Alcohol sales are strictly controlled by the government in Ontario. You can only purchase beer at one place... see below.

Death Valley

Although I am a Wedding Photographer, I love landscape photography. I had a great time last weekend hanging out with a bunch of fun photographers from the Santa Clarita Valley Photographers Association. We all went on a field trip to Death Valley California. We shot sand dunes, hiked the trail at Zabriskie Point and visited the famous Racetrack Playa - where rocks mysteriously move along the surface.

Here are a few shots from the trip.

2007 Rose Bowl - Pasadena California

I decided to install new "Studio Management" software during the holidays. Call me crazy! A result is I have not posted to my blog for over a month.

Yesterday I attended the Rose Bowl in Pasadena with my oldest son. Our whole family cheers for Michigan - which can be difficult when USC is in the Rose Bowl. Even though Michigan got pounded by USC, we had an awesome day sucking in the sunshine, a few beers and the opportunity to see two great teams play.
