Valerie and Jorge

The weather in L.A. yesterday was awesome and I spent the afternoon at the park. I was hanging out with Valerie and Jorge at Lacy Park in San Marino. We had a lot of fun and captured some great engagement images.

I look forward to photographing their upcoming wedding in July.

Round'em Up

On Tuesday we shot engagement pictures of Carmen and Ernesto at a beautiful ranch in Southern California. It was my first gig with horses. The ranch also had some interesting settings for photography, including an old bus. I love the grainy black and white of Ernesto on the bus.

I just can't help myself!

My two Granddaughters came over for Easter today dressed to the nines! I just had to set up some studio lighting and shoot some images. These two little girls rock!

Heather and Brad

I shot engagement images for Heather and Brad this weekend. They did not want the usual beach images, which was a nice break for me. We decided to stay in our neighborhood and utilize some of the parks. Heather and Brad were both naturals in front of the camera.

Diana and Ryan

I had the interesting opportunity to shoot engagement images of Diana and Ryan at Rancho Las Lomas last weekend. What an awesome location - they even have Tigers on the property!

Diana and Ryan are to get married at the ranch in May. It is going to be a very beautiful wedding. The scenery at Rancho Las Lomas rocks and Diana and Ryan are great in front of the camera.

Michele & John - Playing at the Beach

We had beautiful weather last week at the beach. I had so much fun taking engagement pictures of Michele and John. Michele is always happy and laughing. I must admit that it is very contagious. I had to work very hard to get the image below with their eyes closed.

I can't wait for their wedding in July. I know it is going to be a fun shoot.

Kelly and Mike

I made it to the beach again last week to photograph Kelly and Mike. With the exception of it being very windy and some ominous clouds hanging over us (see the first shot below), we had a great time. The clouds actually provided us with some very dramatic backgrounds.

I don't care what the weather is like - because any day at the beach is great for me!

Mountain Air

Yesterday I traveled to the mountains to shoot engagement pictures for Natalie and Arthur. We visited the town of Wrightwood and then moved onto Jackson Lake. When we originally scheduled the shoot, we were counting on snow. Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not comply, but we still had a lot of fun hanging out and catching some great images.

Isabel Cornelia Innes

Isabel Innes entered the world today at 4:52 PM. She is my second granddaughter.

Sharon and Nolan

Yesterday we photographed the wedding of Sharon and Nolan at the Valencia Hyatt. The event was an amazing celebration. The flowers from Acton Country Flowers were beautiful and the music and entertainment from J&M Entertainment rocked the house!

The event was planned by Gina Madden from Extraordinay Events.

I have known the couple for about half a year and they are amazing. They are now enjoying a well deserved honeymoon.
